Privacy Policy
Line Factory · Last updated: October 15, 2026
Line Factory (“the game”) is developed and published by JohnH, France (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data is processed when you play the mobile versions of the game, who processes it and why, and the choices you have. It also covers this website.
In short
- No account and no sign-up. We have no game server and do not ask for any personal information.
- Your factory, settings and blueprints stay on your device.
- No analytics and no crash reports. The game is built with the Unity engine but sends no data to Unity Technologies.
- The game offers optional rewarded ads from Google AdMob. Google’s ad SDK collects some device data, such as your IP address and advertising ID, to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud.
- Ads are currently non-personalized.
1. Who we are
Line Factory is developed and published by JohnH, based in France. You can reach us at contact@jellynt.cc.
We do not run any server for the game. Only one third party is involved in the game: Google, which provides the ads described in section 4 and processes the data its advertising SDK collects as an independent controller, under its own privacy policy.
2. Data we do not collect
- The game has no account and no sign-up. It does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos or other files.
- We have no game server: your game is never uploaded.
- Apart from the Google ad SDK described in section 4, the game contains no analytics or crash reporting tool. It is built with the Unity engine but sends no data to Unity Technologies: the engine’s analytics, crash reporting and diagnostic data are turned off. We do not track what you do in the game.
- We do not sell or rent any data about you.
3. Data stored on your device
Your game (your factory and your progress), your settings and your blueprints are saved only on your device, in the game’s private storage. They are not sent to us or to anyone else.
- Save codes and blueprint codes. The game can turn your save or a blueprint into a text code. The code is copied to your device’s clipboard only when you tap the copy button, and you decide where to paste or share it. When you paste a code, the game reads it on your device.
- Blueprint files (.lfbp). When you import a .lfbp file that you have chosen, the game reads it on your device; it is never uploaded. When you share a blueprint file, your device’s share menu sends it to the app you pick, whose own privacy policy then applies. When you save a blueprint file to your Downloads folder, it is stored there like any other file you save.
- Deleting your data. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its storage in your device settings, deletes this data.
- Device backups. If you have turned on your device’s backup feature (for example Android backup to your Google Account), your operating system may include the game’s data in your device backup. This is handled by your device and its backup provider, not by us.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game only shows rewarded ads: short video ads that you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game bonus, for example to double your offline earnings. There are no banners and no ads that interrupt the game. Watching ads is optional: the game can be played without them.
These ads are provided by Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, a service of Google LLC (Google Ireland Limited for users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland). So that an ad is ready when you ask for one, the game starts the SDK when it launches and loads an ad in advance. The SDK may therefore collect the data below even if you never watch an ad.
| Data | What it includes |
|---|---|
| IP address | Your device’s IP address, which may be used to estimate the general location of your device. |
| App interactions | How you interact with the app and its ads, such as app launches, taps and video views. |
| Diagnostic information | Performance of the app and of the SDK, such as app launch time, hang rate and energy usage. |
| Device identifiers | The Android advertising ID, the App Set ID and, where applicable, other device identifiers. |
Google uses this data for advertising, for analytics and ad measurement, and for fraud prevention. It is encrypted in transit using TLS.
Personalized and non-personalized ads
The game currently requests non-personalized ads only: ads that are not based on your past behaviour or interests. Google may still use contextual information, such as the app itself and your general location, to choose an ad, and may use the data above to limit how often you see the same ad, to produce aggregated reports and to prevent fraud.
Where required by law, we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads; until then only non-personalized ads are shown. If personalized ads are offered in the future, players in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will first see a consent screen; without consent, only non-personalized or limited ads are shown, and you will be able to change your choice in the game at any time.
Learn more about how Google handles this data: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Your choices about ads
- Do not watch ads. A rewarded ad only plays when you tap to watch one.
- Reset or delete your advertising ID. On Android, open your device settings, then usually Google › Ads or Privacy › Ads (the exact path depends on your device). Once the ID is deleted, apps receive a string of zeros instead of an identifier.
- Google’s ad settings. If you use a Google Account, you can manage how Google personalizes ads in My Ad Center.
6. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
We do not process your personal data on our own systems, except when you email us (see section 11).
- Non-personalized ads, ad measurement and fraud prevention (section 4) rely on our legitimate interest in funding a free game through optional ads and in keeping those ads safe (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Personalized ads, if they are offered, are only shown with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
7. Data retention
We do not store data about you on our own systems. The data on your device stays there until you delete it or uninstall the game. Google keeps the data collected by its SDK for the periods described in How Google retains data we collect.
8. International transfers
Google may process the data collected by its SDK outside your country, including in the United States and other countries outside the European Economic Area. Google describes the safeguards it relies on for these transfers, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, in its data transfer frameworks.
9. Security
The game does not send your game data anywhere: it stays in the game’s private storage, protected by your device’s operating system. Data that the advertising SDK sends to Google is encrypted in transit (TLS).
10. Children
Line Factory is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and have a question, contact us at contact@jellynt.cc.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, and in particular under the GDPR in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time.
- Data held by us: none on our own systems. We cannot identify you from the game, so we have nothing to access or erase. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to answer you, and delete them once the matter is closed.
- Data on your device: you control it fully; uninstall the game or clear its storage to delete it.
- Data collected by Google for ads: you can exercise your rights directly with Google, as explained in the Google Privacy Policy, and use the advertising ID controls in section 5.
- Complaints: you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority, for example the CNIL in France (www.cnil.fr).
To exercise your rights or ask a question, write to contact@jellynt.cc. We answer within one month.
12. This website
This website is a static site hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). It uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party resources: its fonts and images are served from this domain. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse, under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the game changes. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version. If we add a feature that changes how data is processed, such as analytics, crash reporting, in-app purchases, online saves or personalized ads, we will update this policy before releasing it.
